VACANCIES FOR DIPLOMA HOLDERS
FOR ONE YEAR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING
Bharat Electronics Limited, a leading Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise, under the
Ministry of Defence, is proposed to engage Technician Apprentices under the Apprentices
Act 1961, for one year Apprenticeship Training in the following designated branches for
Bangalore Complex:
• Civil
• Computer Science
• Commercial Practice
• Electronics & Communication
• Mechanical
Eligibility Criteria:
• Pass in Diploma in Engineering.
• Age limit: Candidates should be below 23 years as on 01.12.2013.
• Upper age limit is relaxed for 5 years in case of SC, ST & PHP candidates and 3
years for OBC candidates.
• Candidates should have passed Diploma examination on or after 01.01.2012.
• Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
Following are the requirements/documents to be produced in original (for
verification) and 2 sets of Xerox copies of the same:
• SSLC Marks Card (as proof of age).
• Diploma Original Certificate or Provisional Diploma certificate.
• SC/ST/OBC/PHP certificates (if applicable)
• Character certificate issued by any responsible person about the candidate’s conduct
and antecedents
• 4 passport size photos and 4 stamp size photos
• S B account in State Bank of India (any branch)
• Dress Code:
Candidates who fulfill the above criteria can report for apprenticeship training with the
above mentioned documents in the assigned dress code on any Thursday, 8.00 AM at
Centre for Learning & Development,

General Details:

• The duration of Apprenticeship Training is for one year only
• Stipend is as per the Government norms (Present rate of stipend is 2,530/-per
month. Is under revision for increase in rate of stipend)
• Canteen and Transport at nominal charges
• OPD medical facilities at BEL Hospital
• Dormitory Accommodation for outstation candidates
Note:
• Upon successful completion of the training, candidate ceases to be a trainee under
the Apprenticeship Act 1961 and the company has no obligation to provide / offer a
job.
• The candidates may note that the admission is only provisional and it shall be subject
to registration by BOAT. If for any reason, whatsoever failure to get the registration
done by BOAT, offer as Technician Apprentice shall be considered as
cancelled/terminated.
